Academy students are international; they come from all parts of United States, from Canada, England, and numerous other countries.

More than half of the entering students have attended traditional colleges before transferring to the Academy to study acting in a more concentrated, professional environment. The other half are high school graduates committed to pursuing careers in acting. They have chosen the Academy's conservatory approach to training as their best option.

There are also students who worked in other fields before deciding to study acting.

Whatever their age or background, once at our acting school in New York or at our Hollywood campus they are united by the shared commitment to acting and the challenge of working to become the best actors they can be.
