TOTAL HOURS & CREDITS 1,456 68

Courses and hours subject to change at the sole discretion of The Academy.

Credit hours are calculated on the basis of the Carnegie unit in compliance with federal regulations for institutions receiving Title IV funding and accreditation standards. A semester hour of credit represents at least three (3) hours of work each week for a period of fifteen (15) weeks. A unit of credit is equal to three hours of student work per week (l hour lecture/class time plus 2 hours of homework/preparation). For laboratory classes, the hours per week are considered to be all in class. When courses fall outside the norm of 15 weeks per semester or hours per week, they are prorated according to the Carnegie unit formula.
