The local bus and rail services. MTA buses run regularly throughout the Los Angeles area. Standard fare is $1.25, transfers 25-35 cents. Tokens are also available at MTA sales outlets at 90 cents each, which makes it 45 cents cheaper then the standard cash fare, but tokens can only be purchased in bags of 10 for $12.00.

During the full-time program, you can also apply for a college student monthly pass stamp, which offers unlimited riding on all regular MTA services each month. The Monthly Pass Stamp is currently $36.00 per month. It is available for purchase at any MTA sales outlet, but is only valid when applied to Base Pass. To obtain a Base Pass application, contact the Admissions or Registrar's Office here at the Academy.

Airport Services

Supper Shuttle 1-800-BLUEVAN www.supershuttle.com This airport shuttle company offers door-to-door service. The cost from LAX to AADA is approximately $26.00. The cost from Burbank Airport to AADA is approximately $21.00. Tip not included. After arriving at LAX, go to "VAN" pickup outside the baggage claim area and inform the Super Shuttle courtesy official of your shuttle reservation and city destination.
