1960's

Elizabeth Franz
Elizabeth Franz (1962) has joined the cast of the upcoming Broadway revival of The Miracle Worker which stars Abigail Breslin and Alison Pill.

1970's

Mark Chamberlin (1979) recently performed in A Christmas Carol at ACT in Seattle. He will appear in a world premiere of The River Why at Book-It Repertory Theatre in Seattle and this summer will be co-starring in John Carpenter's The Ward.

Michael Fennimore (1971) performs in and directs Shear Madness at the Charles Playhouse in Boston. This January 29th the play, which is the longest running non-musical play in American theatre history, will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Michael has performed in the show more than 7,150 times. This past May he sang the role of Jerry Springer in Jerry Springer: The Opera for the Speakeasy Stage Co. in Boston.

Paula Rand (1978) is living on Long Island and has been teaching singing for the last 13 years.


1980's

J. Chachula (1988) teaches Meisner and improvisation for the Flying Machine Theatre Co., in Raleigh, NC.

Bruce Greenwood
Bruce Greenwood (1981) is at work on the feature film Barney's Version with Paul Giamatti and Dustin Hoffman.

Patti (Sheehan) Hupp (1988) released a children's CD called "Feeling Groovy with Miss Patti."

Tony Matrona (1981) lives in Maryland where he directs and acts in original murder mystery dinner shows. Tony recently earned his Isshinryu Karate Black Belt.


1990's

Hank Azaria
Hank Azaria (Summer) is currently filming the feature Love and Other Drugs with Jake Gyllenhaal.

Jerry Ferraccio (1990) is the coordinator of the Eugene Shakespeare Ensemble in Eugene, OR. He earned his MFA from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival/University of Alabama.

Tanja Grupp (1992) is the founder of Potsdam Films, located in Potsdam, Germany. This year they are producing Glitter Girls, a bilingual children's film.

Heather Kafka
Heather Kafka (1992) stars in Lovers of Hate, which is entered in the dramatic feature competition at the Sundance Film Festival.

Laura Lynn MacDonald (1990) will be one of 30 playwrights writing for The Silver Project at the American Theatre Company; this summer her adaptation of Peer Gynt will be remounted in New York City's Central Park.

Robert Randall (1990) founded the Young Actors Project in Vancouver, British Columbia. The organization runs introductory acting classes in elementary schools throughout Greater Vancouver.


2000's

Paula Burton Bain (2004) writes a gossip column for the Portland Examiner. Look for Paula next year on TNT's Leverage.

Adam Chambers
Adam Chambers (2002) plays Wyatt in the Disney Web series I < 3 Vampires, which has been picked up for a 2nd season. Adam also has a recurring role on The Young and the Restless and has two films coming out in January, Redemption and The Genesis Code.

Chris Kapcia (2006) produced two short films, Duly Noted, and TUMBLER: the boom, which recently received awards at Project Twenty1, an International Film Festival in Philadelphia.

Claude Keller (2000) is a regular on Swiss Television's Leichter Leben (Easier Living), a docu-soap which shows how one's quality of life can be improved through nutrition, exercise and mental fitness. Claude is the coach responsible for the mental/emotional aspects.

Elspeth Turner (2008) was in Titus Andronicus at the Secret Theatre in NYC.

Michael Villastrigo (2009) was in the new play Auto Da Fe at the Baruch Performing Arts Center in NYC.

Alumni from the classes of 2007 and 2008 got together on December 6th at the Public Assembly in NYC and produced a night of cabaret called Flight to Berlin.


Remembering

Jennifer Jones
Jennifer Jones (1939) died of natural causes December 17, 2009 at the age of 90. Ms. Jones, who was born Phylis Lee Isley, was nominated five times for the Academy Award.

In 1944 she received the Oscar for Best Actress for her performance in The Song of Bernadette. This award marked the first of four consecutive nominations and was followed by nominations for her work in Since You Went Away (1945), Love Letters (1946), and Duel in the Sun (1947). She received her fifth nomination in 1956 for Love is a Many-Splendored Thing.

While attending the Academy, Jones met fellow actor, Robert Walker. They married and had two sons before divorcing in 1949. That same year she married producer David O. Selznick, who managed her career until his death in 1965.

In 1971 Jones married industrialist and art collector Norton Simon. Simon owned one of the largest private art collections in this country which he housed at his museum, The Norton Simon Museum. When Simon's health declined Jones took over as Chairwoman of the museum and oversaw a gallery renovation designed by famed architect Frank Gehry.

Jones' additional film work includes Portrait of Jennie, Madame Bovary, Ruby Gentry, and Tender is the Night among numerous others.
